ABOUT THE ARTIST
Chuck captures the light and mood that makes an image interesting enough to share.
Careful attention to details and not over manipulating, sharpening or highly saturating the color to capture the audience. Each image stands on its own without a large degree of digital manipulation.
Use of digital, film or video to capture what the customer wants.
Chuck shoots 365 days a year doing weddings, portraits and in the studio shooting model portfolios and stock images as well as in the field shooting nature in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia.
Chucks prints can be found in corporate and private collections around the world.
Images can be delivered on prints or digital files, jpeg or tiff.
Prints are printed only on archival quality papers, with acid free substrates and mounting materials. Each print is carefully developed, one print at a time on watercolor or Velvet Fine Art paper. Each matte is hand cut, prints are numbered and signed by Chuck.
Digital printing is a process called "giclee" (gee-clay) printing. The process involves more than pigmented inks and the media. The true giclee process consists of creative digital darkroom and archival printing techniques. Each step in the giclee process used combines the photographic skills developed through years of experience as a professional photographer honing the photographic skills to visualize the final image producing individual prints of high quality.
